Her work has been presented internationally across the UK, Europe, Australia, the Phillipines, and North America, inlcuding at ATSA and IATSO conferences. She has received multiple awards for her contributions to the field, inlcuding the IATSO Poster Award and the ATSA Fay Honey Knopp Scholarship. Dr. Lister is passionate about briding research and practice to improve understanding, assessment, and professional responses to paraphilic and sexually harmful behaviors.

Her research sits at the intersection of forensic psychology and human sexuality with a focus on paraphilias, including zoophilia, and their clinical and legal implications. She is interested in evidence-based approaches to assessment and prevention, with particular attention to stigmatized and legally vulnerable populations. She is also a Credentialed Evaluator (CE) with the Canadian Evaluation Society - one of approximately 30 individuals to hold this designation in the Quebec.
Emma Peirce, BA is a forensic psychology scholar and clinician specializing in the intersection of criminal law, paraphilic disorders, and violent risk management.
