The Annual Roger Wolfe Retreat has long been a favorite for WATSA members, colleagues, and friends.  The Retreat traditionally serves as an opportunity to come together, discuss events and developments in the field, learn from and share experiences with old and new friends, and enjoy good food and camaraderie.

This year, the Retreat is going virtual for the first time.  We will kick-off on Friday afternoon with a Welcome and Introduction from Holly Coryell, PhD, WATSA President, followed by a presentation on Ancillary and Ethical Considerations during Juvenile Sexual Offense Evaluations from Brent J. Oneal, PhD Dr. Oneal specializes in forensic psychological evaluations for juvenile justice and criminal matters, including adjudicative competencies, mental state defenses, juvenile declination/transfer, and risk assessment (sexual and non-sexual).

Saturday morning will start with a round-table discussion that will focus on current events, such as the move to telebehavioral health for SOTPs, getting documents from DOC, and the newly reconstituted Sex Offender Policy Board (SOPB).  This session will be facilitated by Robert A. Beattey, JD, MA, PhD, and participation from all attendees is encouraged.  Saturday will conclude with two breakout sessions.  Each lasting an hour and a half, attendees will select the breakout sessions they wish to attend and self-facilitate the discussion.

We hope you will join the conversation and share your perspectives throughout the two-days with both new and long-time colleagues.
